The Men’s 2nd Seminar on Women’s Health Issues, Report Working with Men from cultures affected by FGM

This report documents the Second Men’s Seminar on FGM conducted by the NSW Education Program on FGM. The seminar brought together men from communities affected by FGM to discuss and learn more about FGM and to develop strategies to help to eliminate the practice.
 

NSW Education Program on FGM: Men's Seminar Report

The first Men’s Seminar on FGM targeted men as the community leaders, the power brokers and opinion leaders within the target communities in NSW. The seminar aimed to educate men as well as to encourage them to articulate their experiences in relation to FGM and forge strategies to enhance the work of prevention of FGM in NSW.
 

Cabaslot Fiesta: report on residential camp for Sierra Leone refugee women and children 
February 2003
This document reports on the residential camp for Sierra Leone Refugee women and children held in February, 2003. The aim of the camp was to build trust and rapport between the Program and the Sierra Leone community so that the community would be comfortable with addressing issues of FGM.
