Mental Health Act 2007, Statement of Rights

This page provides translations of the NSW Mental Health Act 2007, Schedule 3 Statement of Rights.  The statement outlines the rights of individuals brought to mental health facilities in NSW and has been translated into Arabic, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, Traditional Chinese, Turkish and Vietnamese.

Mental Health in Multicultural Australia

Sane Australia

SANE Australia is a national charity working for a better life for people affected by mental illness through campaigns for improved services and attitudes towards people with a mental illness, education and research.

Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW

The Schizophrenia Fellowship is a nonprofit, community based organisation that works to ensure that people with a mental illness and their carers and relatives have access to information and appropriate services. It also aims to assist in eliminating stigma and advocates for better policy in the areas of research, treatment, rehabilitation, housing and other areas.  

 

Ethnic Communities Council of NSW

The Ethnic Communities' Council of NSW (ECC) is a non-government peak body representing many organisations and people from the multicultural community in NSW.

Community Relations Commission

The Community Relations Commission for a multicultural NSW promotes multiculturalism, ethnic affairs, cultural diversity, community unity and harmony throughout NSW.
