The Multicultural Mental Health Outcomes and Assessment Tools (MH-OAT) have been developed by the Transcultural Mental Health Centre and NSW Health to assist health care professionals to provide culturally appropriate care to their culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) clients.

Everyone has Culture: easy steps to implement the Multicultural MH-OAT

This video explains how culture influences mental health and guides people's perceptions of mental illness and their participation in health. It also introduces the Multicultural MH-OAT Assessment Tools and describes how they can assist clinicians in their work.
