MPGS provides the following to service providers in NSW:

  • Training on cross cultural issues in problem gambling to mainstream problem gambling services
  • We accept referrals from service providers with client consent
  • Provision of specialist clinical and cross-cultural consultancy and advice

Gambling Help
Gambling Help is a 24-hour, 7 days a week, statewide telephone helpline offering crisis counselling for problem gamblers, their families, friends and others. It is available to anyone in NSW who wants to talk to a trained counsellor about their own, or someone else’s, gambling problem.

The Office of Responsible Gambling funds programs and initiatives that support responsible gambling and prevent and minimise the risk of problem gambling related harm in the community.

University of Sydney Gambling Treatment Clinic
The Gambling Treatment and Research Clinic offers specialist treatment for gamblers. We also provide specialist support for families of people with gambling problems, and for couples experiencing relationship difficulties as a result of problem gambling. The Clinic is part of the School of Psychology at the University of Sydney.
