
Our Mental Health Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention program uses a population based approach to help improve the mental health outcomes and wellbeing of culturally and linguistically diverse communities across NSW. The program aims to increase understanding of mental health issues and pathways to care, improve resilience and reduce stigma.
Our community presentations and workshops assist people to identify the signs and symptoms of mental illness, understand causes and risk factors and improve the ability to cope with, and find help for mental health concerns.
Wherever possible we use bilingual mental health professionals to deliver community presentations and workshops. We also participate in community events and distribute mental health resources in multiple languages.
