Our Services
TMHC’s Clinical Consultation Service (CCS) is able to provide services to people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities experiencing a mental health issue who are linked to a Local Health District mental health service, such as hospital or community mental health service.
Our CCS specialist clinical service interventions include:
- expert clinical consultancy and advice;
- support for ongoing care and therapeutic interventions;
- culturally responsive psychosocial assessments and clinical formulation;
- culturally informed information to support treating team with clarification of diagnosis;
- culturally congruent care and treatment recommendations;
- culturally meaningful psychoeducation for consumers and families and
- neuropsychological or intellectual capacity assessments with transcultural mental health considerations.
Our service is free and is available to individuals, families, children, young people, adults and older people who have been referred by their local mental health team.
